CAROLYN BELKO IYENGAR YOGA WEEKEND

We are delighted to have Carolyn coming back for her 8th annual spring workshop!
Carolyn Belko, is a devoted pupil of B.K.S. Iyengar and was assessed by him personally, receiving Senior Level Certification. She continues training in India with the Iyengars on a regular basis, most recently, February, 2012. A leader in the community, Carolyn is one of few to conduct Iyengar Yoga Therapeutics classes. She is faculty for the Iyengar Yoga Training Program sponsored by the Southern California Association and serves as a volunteer assessor for certification of Iyengar Yoga teachers across the nation. In 2003 Carolyn opened the Iyengar Yoga Center of North County-San Diego with Mr. Iyengar’s blessings.
An Iyengar workshop is a chance to have a consolidated learning experience of Yoga. Each session builds on what was learned prior with central themes or actions threading and repeating through the various poses. Because the amount of time practicing over the weekend is also longer than normal, everyone’s body has a much greater opportunity to open and people usually are able to explore each pose more deeply. Intentional, skillful sequencing of the poses creates an opportunity for real understanding of the positive effects of yoga as well as an overall sense of accomplishment and well-being.
Carolyn’s expertise in teaching clearly and succinctly, coupled with her enthusiasm and joy, guides one on a steady path to experiencing yoga on an individual basis. We welcome all who want to join us at this multi-level workshop. Just step on to your mat!

Tuition $185, if paid before March 27th, after that, add $10 for late registration.

Full weekend registrations are given priority.
All but $25 is refundable if you cancel before April 1st. The registration is non-transferable.
